taxi pods quiet room
The self-driving taxi pods made getting to terminal 5 so easy (i loved that part). the room was clean and quiet, a perfect combination for a pre-flight rest. i also found the breakfast to be quite good. It set me up nicely for my travels.
The items in the hotel shop felt overpriced. I wish i had packed more essentials. i guess next time i'll be sure to bring everything i need.

the room was adequately clean upon my arrival.
The heating in my room didn't work. I was quite cold. the bed was also hard. It seemed like sleeping on a camp bed. the receptionist seemed confused by my reservation.

i found the staff helpful when I needed assistance with my luggage, they quickly assigned me a room closer to the reception area. the public transport links were convenient with options right outside the hotel. it was easy to access terminal 5 using the pod transport system for a small fee.
I noticed items in the hotel shop were expensive. This made it necessary to plan ahead and purchase essentials elsewhere.

the location made access to terminal 5 convenient.
the shuttle bus arrangement from terminal 5 was horrendous i ended up getting a taxi to go back to the airport the following morning. the hotel has a grotty exterior and a very dimly lit car park i'm not sure i would have felt particularly safe traveling alone.
